Enter your field, CGPA and English score. The tool compares them with the minimum grade, English level and subject area each programme in StudyGate states, and counts the matches. Where a programme does not state a rule, it is counted as “not stated”, never as a pass.
This is a filter, not an admission decision. It uses only three rules (subject area, minimum German grade, English) as stored in StudyGate; programmes also check credits, subject modules, documents and deadlines. Most records are not yet fully verified, so open each programme’s official page before applying.
Matching programmes
How it works
- Grade: your CGPA is converted with the modified Bavarian formula (best 4.00, your minimum pass) and rounded to one decimal; a programme matches when your German grade is equal to or better than its stated minimum.
- English: IELTS is compared with the programme’s IELTS minimum when one is stated; otherwise your CEFR level (from the test makers’ tables) is compared with the programme’s CEFR level.
- Field: the subject area StudyGate assigned to the programme. Programmes without one are counted as “not stated”.
- Data: the programmes StudyGate currently shows by default (- records, built -).
