Germany blocked account calculator
The German Embassy in Islamabad asks for €992 per month (€11,904 per year) in a blocked account for student visa applications submitted from 1 January 2025. Checked on 22 Oct 2026.
The embassy’s page says it may request a blocked amount for up to two years in particular cases; confirm your required amount before transferring funds. Bank transfer fees can reduce the amount that arrives, so check with your provider. Exchange rates change daily, so no rate is preset.
